JASY Leadership
JASY is blessed with a committed and hands on Board of Directors who regularly serve at JASY Camp.
Dave McEneany, Horace Byfield and Curt Herge, the original founders remain committed to and actively involved in JASY. Dave brings years of experience from Special Olympics to the design, planning and execution of JASY Camp. Horace, a native of Jamaica, who lives in Rochester NY, loves kids, sports and Jamaica. Coach Horace regularly serves as the Football (Soccer) Coach at JASY Camp. Curt lived in Kingston Jamaica during high school, when his dad was a US AID consultant to the Minister of Education. His love of the Jamaican people and recognition of the challenges children face growing up in very tough economic conditions were the genesis for JASY.
